Setting up involved numerous tasks, from crafting each grip to sourcing the perfect display to showcase our products.

Hello MochiMono readers! It's nice to meet you! I would like to share with you a lil bit about myself, I'm actually Malaysian based in Singapore and I'm married to a Japanese husband. My entrepreneur journey started since I was 8 years old selling chocolate sticks and name labels to my friends and when I was on a term break, I sourced clothes individually to sell on Facebook. I even sold furnitures and other miscellaneous items. I've always had this entrepreneur spirit in me and I love the attention to details and quality.
My family are all entrepreneurs and business owners and I contemplated to start my own business ever since I moved to Singapore. I love the life here and have embraced the Peranakan culture even more after donning the Singapore Airlines uniform as a Cabin Crew years back. It was a dream come true to be a Singapore Girl and I'm glad to have been given the opportunity to work with Singapore Airlines.
I was taking a break in 2023 and founded MochiMono recently while travelling around the world. I've travelled Solo to countries like Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan and South Korea and captured my journey through Vlogs on my YouTube channels.
After meeting lots of people during my travels, I'm slowly connecting the dots in my life and linking the batik designs, being a magnet collectors, exchanging contacts, meeting entrepreneurs and start up founders, I found a calling in life.
My Batik Phone Grips are encrypt with NFC (Near Field Communication) which allows you to include links to your personal profile or anything that you would like to link to.
I've heard and seen successful entrepreneurs going through journey of hardships and it is a lonely journey that nobody talks about. It's scary and nerve wrecking to start your own business but it's rewarding and fulfilling.
